Everything has begun in summer 1966, since that time I have admired my region, Earth and Universe.

In my childhood I spent couple of my holidays working on a free ranch in my grandparents’ farm. I saw real hardship which is needed to provide bread and butter for family.

In my ground school my favorite subjects was physics and math. I was curious about surrounding world all of the time. Because of that I decided to continue my education in secondary school. There I met a lot of people whom I could trust and who relayed on me. I belong to scout organization and I learned what real responsibility means.

During scout camp I took plenty of pictures, some of them showed other people, surrounding world and nature.

After little prompting by my physics teacher my feet directed towards Jagiellonian University and I studied there computer science. Because it took place before “computer revolution” I had chance to study in a small group where we had an opportunity to teach one another and discuss different aspect of science and life.

One spring day I met a very patient woman, Monica, who you can find in my pictures. She decided to spend the rest of her life with me. Thank God for her!

Now I share my time between working in telecommunication company (where I perform as a manager), my children (I have got two boys, Pawel and Maciek) whose bringing up is a very heavy everyday duty, family life and my hobby.

In 1998 I came across a group of people who discussed techniques, tips, guidelines of taking pictures in natural environment. It appealed to me very much and now after a couple of years I can admit that I’ve learned a lot from them.

I tried to keep my mind and body in a good condition, almost every weekend I put on my backpack with photo equipment and wander through a forest. Often photography is only a stimulus to spend some time between trees listening to birds singing, watching sun through shaking leaves.

When I press shutter release I try to capture a moment, a twinkle of an eye, my feelings, a smell … although I clearly understand that it is impossible I’ll try to prompt you to take a look into my photo gallery.
